Privacy policy

Last updated: 01.09.2026

1. Overview

Protecting your personal data matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is QT Services. The full postal address, email address and telephone number are listed on the contact page and in the imprint.

3. Data collected when you visit this website

When you open a page, your browser automatically transmits technical information to our hosting provider: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data is stored in server log files for a maximum of seven days for security and troubleshooting purposes. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

4. Contact form and email

If you send us an enquiry, we process the name, email address, telephone number and message you provide in order to answer you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR based on your consent. We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and afterwards in line with statutory retention periods.

5. Cookies and local storage

This website sets only cookies that are necessary for it to work: your chosen language and your chosen light or dark display mode. These contain no personal identifiers and are not used for advertising. Analytics or marketing cookies are set only after you give consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

6. Hosting

This website is hosted in data centres located within the European Union. Our hosting provider processes data solely on our instructions under a data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

7. Recipients and transfers

We share personal data only with processors who support us in providing our services — for example hosting, email delivery and, where you have consented, analytics. Where a transfer to a third country takes place, it is safeguarded by an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

8. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

9. Data security

This website uses TLS encryption for all traffic. Access to personal data within our organisation is limited to the people who need it to perform their work, and all staff are bound by confidentiality.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when our services or the legal requirements change. The current version always applies and is dated at the top of this page.
